KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 10, 2014) – For a second consecutive year, American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) recognized Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCU) with two first place Excellence in Communication Awards on April 4 at its annual banquet in Washington, D.C. In the categories of Best Website and Best Magazine in Print, the University was recognized for its outstanding efforts in writing and design.
AACOM also distinguished KCU with second place awards in the categories of Social Media, Printed Recruitment Piece and Newsletter, and a third place award as well as honorable mention for Feature Story or Article.
Each year, AACOM’s Excellence in Communications Awards are presented in honor of the outstanding marketing, media relations, public education, writing and design efforts of the nation’s colleges of osteopathic medicine.
