May 10, in Weaver Auditorium. Osteopathic medical students and loved
ones of donors gathered to honor those who gave “a most precious gift.”

April 18, 2013 - A Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences alumnus was a first responder at the explosions that shook a fertilizer plant in West, Texas. George N. Smith, D.O., (COM '74), is a family physician and trauma specialist and serves as the director of Emergency Medical Services for West.

April 17, 2013 - Dr. Marc Hahn and a contingency from KCUMB joined other osteopathic students, residents, physicians, faculty and staff on April 17 in Jefferson City to celebrate Missouri Osteopathic Medicine Awareness Day.
