While many physicians choose to participate in the clinical training program in order to give back to their profession, we recognize that physicians commit time, energy and talent to the education of our students. Physicians choosing to partner with KCUMB to educate medical students enjoy many benefits.
Preceptors will receive CME credit for each month they take a student. Credit is assigned on an hour-for-hour basis, with up to 160 hours of CME credit for a four-week/one-month block. The level of CME is as follows:
Preceptors will enjoy faculty development and appreciation events and have the opportunity to apply for Community Clinical Faculty Appointment.
