This course is designed to provide students with introductory training for disasters requiring medical preparedness. This training complies with national guidelines to standardize emergency response training nationally and to strengthen the nation's public health system. This course is a prerequisite to the Advanced Disaster Life Support elective. Graded S/U0.5 semester credit
