The focus of this course will be synthesizing information taught during the first and second years of the curriculum with an emphasis on clinical medicine. The top 10 diagnoses seen in primary care, as well as top five inpatient admitting diagnoses will be covered, and students will practice obtaining medical history, documenting, and utilizing evidence-based, cost-effective, diagnostic strategies in order to arrive at a treatment plan.
