The Department of Continuing Medical Education is dedicated to developing and sustaining the highest quality educational programs for physicians.
The Department of CME is committed to providing life-long learning opportunities that will facilitate physicians' efforts to maintain and improve professional competence and performance, renew and update skills, and acquire new knowledge to improve health-care outcomes.
CME credits can be earned a variety of ways. KCUMB provides several opportunities each year for osteopathic and allopathic medical doctors to complete CME credits.

The activity will be accredited for 25 hours of allopathic and osteopathic CME. The seminar will include didactic lectures, panel discussions and hands-on workshops in simulation and osteopathic manipulative treatment.
Available through December 2014, earn up
to three hours of AOA Category 1-A CME credits. Online CME addresses the
prevalence, treatment and prevention of head trauma.
The second annual William Legg, D.O., Sports Medicine Conference included roundtable discussions, hands-on training,
case study and small group work.
The 2013 Winter CME Clinical Update addressed common conditions and timely issues relevant to health-care professionals, particularly those in primary care.
