  • The Department of Continuing Medical Education is dedicated to developing and sustaining the highest quality educational programs for physicians.

    The Department of CME is committed to providing life-long learning opportunities that will facilitate physicians' efforts to maintain and improve professional competence and performance, renew and update skills, and acquire new knowledge to improve health-care outcomes.

    CME credits can be earned a variety of ways. KCUMB provides several opportunities each year for osteopathic and allopathic medical doctors to complete CME credits.

    Upcoming CME:

    Fall CME 2014 Scientific Seminar and Update in Clinical Medicine | Sept. 17-20

    The activity will be accredited for 25 hours of allopathic and osteopathic CME. The seminar will include didactic lectures, panel discussions and hands-on workshops in simulation and osteopathic manipulative treatment.

    Traumatic Brain Injury and Concussion | Online CME

    Available through December 2014, earn up to three hours of AOA Category 1-A CME credits. Online CME addresses the prevalence, treatment and prevention of head trauma.
