A block of rooms is reserved at the InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza located at 401 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Mo., 64112. The room rate is $179 per night. Room rates are valid until August 27, 2013, and are available when booking during the following dates of Sept. 17-22.
The InterContinental hotel is located on the Country Club Plaza renowned for 15 blocks of world class shopping, fountains, Spanish architecture and restaurants. For more information go to http://www.countryclubplaza.com/ Shuttles will run Thursday-Saturday, September 19-21, from the hotel to the KCUMB campus.
