The Heritage Society was established to honor those individuals whose gift plans set a firm foundation for the long-term financial health of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and for the University's continued ability to support students as they pursue degrees in osteopathic medicine, bioethics or biomedical sciences.

We Can Help You Find a Choice that Meets Your Needs

Visit with a member of KCUMB's Advancement Office to explore how you may be able to help through:

• Making a bequest in a testamentary device, such as a will, or including the University in a retirement plan or revocable trust
    
• Establishing a lifetime-income gift that can provide income payments to you and your beneficiaries, such as a charitable gift annuity or a charitable remainder trust. These options typically involve present-day transfers of gift assets, immediate tax advantages and income streams for the donor, with future distributions to KCUMB.
    
• Creating a charitable lead trust, which can offer significant tax advantages for the donor and reliable streams of charitable income to KCUMB.
