KCU-COM alumni enjoy free CME in conjunction with Homecoming
The Fall 2014 CME Scientific Seminar and Update in Clinical Medicine is designed to address common conditions and timely issues relevant to health-care professionals, particularly those in primary care.Topics focus on specific practice issues and disease states relative to primary care physicians. Clinical updates include new hypertension guidelines, CKD controversies, Hepatitis C guidelines and cancer updates. Child and adolescent lectures focus on autism, obesity, and gaps in psychiatric services.Hands-on demonstrations will include a cut-suit demonstration along with other simulations and OMT trainings. Disaster medicine, management and life support will all be addressed.
