American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is a student-governed, national organization committed to representing the concerns of physicians-in-training.
With a membership of about 70,000 medical students, premedical students, interns, residents and practicing physicians from across the country, AMSA’s goal is to improve medical training and the nation’s health.
AMSA complements and enhances medical education for its members by means of various clinical speakers and leadership opportunities. AMSA members are involved in various community service projects including Primary Care Day and AIDS Week.
