The Missouri Osteopathic Student Association (MOSA) aims to spread awareness of the osteopathic profession through community service. Each month, students volunteer at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic, working with local physicians to provide health care for the under-served while at the same time providing much needed experience for medical students.
The organization also aims to help students become more politically active in both the state and national level. Each year, members, along with local physicians, travel to the state capitol in Jefferson City to discuss medical issues with legislators.
