The thousands of physicians educated and trained by Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences since 1916 have certainly made a powerful impact on the health of their patients in Kansas City and around the world.

In recent years, however, the University has broadened this foundation of excellence in medical education to place special emphasis on service and corporate citizenship. Those associated with KCUMB donate more than 100,000 hours service to the their community annually, supporting the initiatives over 250 not-for-profit organizations throughout the Kansas City area.

Through these efforts, the students, staff, faculty and administrators at KCUMB are not simply making a difference, but they are leading the way.
