The faculty of KCUMB’s Department of Family and Community Medicine have distinguished themselves in the areas of academic family medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) and sports medicine.
Faculty are dedicated to the principles of osteopathic medicine and apply these principles to patient care, teaching and research. They endeavor to create knowledge through scientific inquiry and clinical research and to inspire others through the process.
Faculty serve the greater community through leadership roles in local, state and national professional societies and policy-making institutions. Department faculty have received accolades for the development of the unique and visionary osteopathic clinical skills curriculum.
