      I volunteered at the Lawrence Festival of Cultures held on Sept 16, 2012 and Sept 21, 2011, in Lawrence, KS. I was the designated photographer for the event this year. Last year I prepared posters, cooked and sold food and raised funds for charity.

      I organized a biosciences day for 20 eighth grade students from Scuola Vita Nuova School. They spent an afternoon in my research lab at KCUMB and did a science project on the "Efficiency of Common Antacids".
