      The Medical Library Association is an organization of medical librarians all over the world who meet every May in various locations in the United States to participate in CE courses, SIGS and discuss various medical librarian topics.

      HSLNKC is an organization of local medical librarians in the states of Missouri and Kansas who meet on a quarterly basis to discuss library issues and the sharing of materials among members.

      MCMLA is a Chapter of the Medical Library Association which is an organization of medical librarians from Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and South Dakota. This organization provides educational opportunities to its members.

      Assist with grocery shopping for three handicapped neighbors.

    • Director of the Library Department, 11/01/2009 - 12/01/2010, Mothers Refuge

      The Library forgave student fines for overdue materials by having the students donate one canned food item or clothing for each fine owed. Mothers Refuge shelters homeless, pregnant and parenting young women.
