How do I search for Pathology cases?

Searching for Pathology cases (Any browser)

1. Go to Library website

2. Click on “Catalog” (left side of screen)

3. Click on the “Advanced Search” tab

4. In the first search line type: case records of the. In the drop down box, choose “as a phrase” and the next drop down box select “title.”

5. Use “And”

6. Then in the second search line type in the disease, body part, symptom, etc. that you want to search for. If you use more than one search word, be sure to choose “as a phrase” in the drop down box. The last drop down box, for this search line, select “keyword anywhere.”

7. Click “Search”

8. After finding cases bring the year and number from the call number to the circulation desk for pulling. Up to 5 cases can be checked out to look at. Advisable to bring a list. Only 1 or 2 may leave the Library. MUST HAVE STUDENT ID.

Example: Call number: SL 84:107 No. 1 1977 ; Bring: 1977, no. 1
