Requesting Volunteers

Non-profit organizations that serve the Kansas City metropolitan area may request volunteer assistance from University students, faculty and staff for the purpose of program services, event support, and other meaningful volunteer experiences.*
The following criteria have been developed as a guide for reviewing and evaluating volunteer requests:

• Skills and interests of students, faculty and staff
• The University’s ability to promote the opportunity and recruit volunteers in a timely and effective manner
• The time and date when volunteers are needed
• Number of volunteers required to make the project successful
• How meaningful the volunteer experience will be

*Due to the high volume of requests for volunteers and medical community service outreach, please note that the University cannot guarantee all requests will be fulfilled.
