March 20, 2020
KCU will provide funding for poster printing for students and faculty accepted to present. The poster must be submitted using the KCU format (poster template). Please proof your poster carefully before submitting. Your poster is a reflection of your hard work and findings and a chance for you to put information and results in visual format- take your time! Students, work with your mentor to ensure an error free poster is presented.
The link to the poster printing request form can be found below and will be available until March 4, 2020. Posters must be submitted in PDF format. The poster template can be found here. Important: the KCU poster template is portrait orientation and 4’ tall by 3’ wide. Please follow the instructions listed within the template on how to adjust and setup the poster.
Once your poster request is submitted and received, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs staff will work with an outside printing service. Once an electronic proof is ready, you will be emailed and ask to respond as soon as possible to confirm that the proof is OK to print or make changes as necessary. Please note any posters requiring re-print because of proofing/formatting issues will not be funded by KCU; please proof your poster carefully before submitting and review the electronic proof carefully before confirming it is OK to print.
After printing, the poster will be delivered to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (in Dybedal) and you will need to pick it up when notified by email. You can set up your poster in the Student Academic Center between 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020 (the day before the event). If you are unable to display your poster during this time, please ask someone to do it for you. Push pins and presentation boards will be provided.
