Give by June 30 and include personal note to incoming students
As an important part of the medical education process, it is vital for students to have the opportunity to learn about and participate in research. Participation in the research process enables students to develop additional knowledge and critical-thinking skills that may result in improved patient care. It is also equally important for faculty members to be challenged in their professions and to continue the lifelong learning process as faculty mentors.
KCUMB offers nine student fellowships each summer from June 1 to July 31. Find out more about fellowship requirements as well as other funding opportunities for students.
KCUMB faculty are actively engaged in research and are available to serve as mentors for student research on topics that include public health, the aging process, neurodegenerative diseases and more.
