Financial Aid

  • The Financial Aid Office serves as a resource for students in need of financial assistance to enable them to pursue their educational goals. Financial aid staff will help students find and understand the numerous financial aid resources available. Our goal is to provide financial literacy in order to help students make sound and educated financial choices. The Financial Aid Office also serves KCU graduates as an advocate and resource should they experience problems or concerns in the repayment of their student loans. The Financial Aid Office administers federal student aid programs, military, National Health Service Corps, Indian Health Service, Veterans Administration benefits, state programs and manages the federal Direct Loan process. We strive to provide service that is professional, efficient and courteous.

Our department serves the University’s mission by adhering to these principles:

We strive to increase mutual respect, communication and understanding by encouraging the highest level of cooperation within our office, with other University academic and administrative departments, and external agencies.
    • Encourage and provide the training and resources to empower the financial aid staff to make sound and ethical decisions within Federal, State and University guidelines.
    • We serve students, prospective students, alumni and the University with integrity and consideration that is based upon personal responsibility, accountability, reliability and respect.
