KCU-Kansas City Biomedical Sciences Orientation

Tuesday, July 30 - Friday, August 2.

Congratulations on your decision to attend KCU’s College of Biosciences! We are excited to welcome you to campus for your orientation activities from Tuesday, July 30 through Friday, August 2.

Orientation is designed to provide you with important information and opportunities to interact with faculty and your new classmates. All activities are required, unless otherwise noted on the schedule. If you do not pick up your packet by 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, you risk losing your seat in the class.

Expect programming to extend until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Business casual attire is recommended on these dates. Lunch will be provided.

On Friday, August 2, you will come together with your peers, faculty and staff, to serve the greater Kansas City community at a variety of nonprofit organizations. COB WE CARE Day is a rewarding experience that solidifies your commitment to improve the communities we serve at KCU. Casual and breathable clothing that can get dirty is recommended, as well as closed-toe shoes. A T-shirt will be provided to you. After your community service project concludes, additional activities may be offered on campus. A full schedule will be posted in the coming months.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact Student Affairs at stuservices@kcumb.edu or 816-654-7201. We look forward to seeing you on July 30!

Sincerely,

Student Affairs

P.S. We encourage you to join the KCU Biosciences Class of 2020 group on Facebook. It can be a helpful resource for finding potential roommates, exploring housing options, and getting to know your class before you arrive on campus.
